Boston Trip

Boston Museum of Science          I went to the Boston Museum of Science on Monday. I enjoyed the hands-on, up-close aspect of it, and I liked how much I was able to learn. We spent a large amount of time in the "green" hall, where it is mainly focused on physics. This area was especially hands-on, and we were able to really experiment with different things.

    I wasn't there but it is good to see your pictures. I like the fact that you incorporate your pictures into your blog in a really funny way. I wish to see more of how it influence you in an artistic way since this is an art blog, but good job overall.

    The turtle looks so cute! I'm happy to see you post some pictures about this trip, and I can see you enjoyed this trip to the science museum. I like the fifth picture, I like the blue color in this picture, that looks nice!

    My friend told me the science museum is so interesting, she had so much fun there. Seems like the museum is really cool. I want to go there. Nice posts.

JOAN MIRO

Joan Miro was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and    ceramicist born in Barcelona in 1893. He later died in 1983. A museum, "The  Fundació Joan  Miró" was dedicated to his work in Barcelona  in 1975.   His work has mainly been involved Fauvism, Cubism, and Surrealism. Once exposed to different artists, his style changed to be focused much more on Surrealism. Some of his works seem childlike, and have a youthful theme to them, with the vibrant colors and shapes. Biomorphic shapes are shapes which seem to exhibit the appearance of a living thing, shown    through the shapes in his work.
